小春俚語 | in passing 順便

今天我們來學習這個俚語表達:
in passing
Pass 動詞，表示路過，passing 現在進行時，表示途中，in 指的是 在...狀態中的意思，加起來雖然是在....途中，但是也重點說明了話意，在后邊跟上一個分句，就是在做...的途中，在做些....事情。也就有了順便的意味。
來看看這倆個句子：
1.It may be mentioned in passing that this material is not meant for publication. 可以順便提一提，這個材料是不準備發表的。 2.He also points out, in passing, various questions of the sort which have cropped up early this year. 他也順便指出了今年早些時候就突然出現的諸如此類的各種問題。
