小春俚語 | off the record 保密

今天我們來學習這個俚語表達:
off the record
record 作為名詞表示記錄，off就是不在的狀態(tài)，off the record 就是說的是不在記錄里面，不準備讓其他人知道的意思，也就是私底下保密的。對應的還有一個叫做on the record 表示記錄在冊。
來看看這倆個句子：
1.Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to talk about this on or off the record. 很遺憾，不管是公開、還是私下，我都不能談論這件事。 2.Let's keep this off the record, but I think interest rates will be raised soon. 這是我私下的看法，我認為利息即將調(diào)升。
